April 2, 2014 was an exciting day for SkillsUSA students of Bethlehem, PA and Mikayla; it was the day the students presented Senator Browne with an original “Wheels of Friendship” painting and Mikayla met Pennsylvania’s first lady, Susan Corbett.
Senator Browne; as sponsor of special education reform legislation and co-chair of the Special Education Formula Funding Committee, has worked hard to support fair distribution of state money based on the actual numb of students in need of special education services and the degree to which they need those services. By doing so, he supports the successor inclusion of all children in public schools. Therefore, MV presented Senator Browne with the painting “With Liberty and Justice. For ALL.”
While visiting the capitol Mrs. Corbett happened by and lucky Mikayla was able to meet her!
